Deva graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2001, since that time, Deva has extensive experience in sports, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and expanded his interests in Vestibular rehabilitation, Occupational Health and Men's Health physiotherapy. He has a sound interest in developing and presenting various professional development courses and workshops to workplaces and has conducted professional development sessions for the local General Practitioners in Port Augusta.
His strong interest in teaching allows him the opportunity of upskilling physiotherapists who join the team at Country Health Physiotherapy.
In the past Deva, has worked with the National Paralympic Committee of India as a disability classifier and Sport physiotherapist. So keen is his interest in sports physiotherapy Deva undertook and completed his Masters in Orthopedics, Sports and Manipulative physiotherapy at the UniSA. During his study he had the opportunity of working with the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and was involved with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Deva's thirst for knowledge never wanes and he has conducted and participated in numerous professional development studies and is qualified in Clinical Pilates and dry needling.
He is an expert in any aspect of Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries, but his special interests are Shoulder instability, sporting ankle, advance management of spinal injuries and management of dizziness and vertigo.
Deva is a dedicated family man and in his free time he is a proud member of the Lions Club Port Augusta and loves to fix computers and audio-visual systems.
